The speedometer started making crazy jumps and the cruise control was veering fast/slow/fast/slow after I installed the cable. I can hear a rattling sound coming from the cable. Furthermore, the cable does not contain any kinks, sharp edges, etc. Also, there is no lubricant with it.
The cable is easy to use, and it works great on an older vehicle.
About six times driving the vehicle caused me to be injured.
It fit on the cluster side, but not on the transmission side. To make it work, I had to hack it.
I was able to install this onto my 1986 Ford F-150 manual transmission with no trouble.
