B. I. There is too much information in this article. Since the OEM length of the cable is 62", that's 18" too long, posing a problem with routing the cable, particularly because it is too close to the exhaust systems 1. Finally, 2. There is no grommet on this cable, so you are likely to hear wind noise from the hole in the firewall where the cable passes through.
Bought a 1990 Mazda B2600i 4x4 in exchange for money. Despite the fact it was not an exact fit, with minimal modification, it fits very well. I am extremely pleased with the smooth movements of the gauge, much better than the OEM cable before it snapped. I could only find a used original for four times the price, so the price was hard to beat for the.
It took me two days to complete my work. We have no kinks in the system. A correct installation was performed. In addition to fitting the Duster 904 transmission and speedometer, it also fit the I now notice that my speedometer says 80 when parked, which may be related to the speedo. That would require me to change my review if found to be the case.
As of now, there are no issues. It took me so long to replace my original cable that I just now got around to it. And, to my surprise, here is what happened. Cable for the new "exact fit" model was over a foot too short. As I am unable to use the new product, I have taken it back to the box it came from. If Amazon allows me to return the product, I would appreciate it very much. Installing it has not been completed.
My 87 Dodge Ram charger was missing the cruise control cable, and I needed the longer one from the speedometer to the throttle. This is the cable that goes straight from the speedometer to the throttle. The length is just right so that it would not bind. There are about 80 of them.
My 1968 Dodge Charger was well suited to this replacement part.
My 70 Dart fitted just as it should have (just as I expected). The price for this product is great. I'd recommend it to someone looking to purchase it!.
