It was fortunate that I was able to salvage the stock, rusty screws on my 2001 Blazer. I learned later, however, that the plate that these screws fit into was changed some time ago, so none of the screws that came with this kit would fit the older plate A great kit. I strongly recommend it.
All the parts fit together well and seem to be well made though the screws provided appear to be thicker than Please do not throw away those that you still have in your truck as you will need them after all. GMC Sonoma ZR2 from 2003.
A pair of emergency brake boots is required for a 2001 Chevy Blazer. As far as we can tell, the metal straps appear to be galvanized/coated so hopefully they will last a while. As far as the rubber goes, all will be revealed during use. The bolts looked like they were coated, and I didn't use them since I drilled out the holes in the brake assembly plate to use bolts and nuts. But they were class 8 bolts and fit perfectly.
I bought it for my 2000 GMC Sonoma 4x4 with rear disc brakes, regardless of what Amazon or the description said. It would even be easier if they were available at GM dealers.
What would they send wrong if it was the wrong equipment?.
