It applies to the front and rear of the vehicle. Since there are only two sensors for the whole vehicle, one for each end, you only need one kit. On the right front pad, front sensor goes to left rear pad, and on the left rear pad, rear sensor goes to right rear

I have an E70 BMW X5

This is the perfect fit. If you are changing your BMW brake pads, you need to remember this basic but important part. The more expensive one doesn't have to be the one you choose. Here, you'll also get two front and two rear for about $10 each. As soon as you get the "brake job needed warnings" on your dashboard, you can't reset them until you change this setting. You will spend only 2 minutes on this task when you replace your pads. I wish you the best of luck in your business.

I had difficulty installing the sensors due to the poor quality of the plastic around them, both of them broke while installing, but managed to keep them in place, be very gentle when placing the sensors in the brake pad.

What was pictured was different from what was actually there

The actual product I received was not what is shown in the picture. At least on my X5M 2010, there is a glued-on bleeder mount that is out of reach when the sensor is in front. There is no short-circuit here, it's just that this part of it has to be stripped I did not have any problems in the rear.
