Even though I had to have my steering column broken down for another repair, I went ahead and replaced the 35 year old turn signal cancellation springs I had left on my vehicle, since to replace them requires special tools (steering wheel puller and lock plate compressor) that aren't cheap. As I assembled the column again, one of the new springs didn't work, but the other one did. As a result, I had to remove the wheel and compress the lock plate once again. The originals work perfectly again after I put them back on. There is no way I could take these Dorman springs as anything but poor Chinese It is made from high-quality materials. My mistake was not getting the OEM ACDelco springs, which were more expensive.
Return springs for my 1995 Jeep YJ are hard to come by. Ideally, I would have spent $53 on an assembly, but this was a great deal!.
The Amazon website does not list it as a "fit" for my 88 and 95 Jeep Wranglers, but it worked just fine. I believe Jeep and GM share several steering column component parts (that includes It is no more necessary to drive for ten miles while my blinker is.

The ones in my 1993 Chevy Suburban were broken and these were a perfect replacement. To reach the springs in the steering column, special tools need to be used.
Sadly, I had to return it because the motor had blown, but it was a quality Dorman part.
