It appears to be feasible. Hi, I installed it on a 2010 Jeep JK with no issues. This is a universal part that should fit almost any vehicle.
This will fit almost any vehicle. You must already have the Ready Brake system installed on your first tow vehicle, as well as this cable (which comes with the system). You can use Ready Brake with a different tow vehicle thanks to this extra cable.

This was purchased to replace the original NSA cable for our Ready Brute Elite tow bar system, which I had "professionally" installed in 2015 by an RV supplier. They ran the cable in a nearly straight line too close to the Jeep exhaust manifold, causing the cable jacket liner to melt and prevent proper operation, preventing the towed vehicle's brakes from working. To keep the new cable away from the heat source, I wrapped it around the wheel well. To be fair, the instructions state to keep it away from heat sources, but given that it must pass through the engine compartment of the towed vehicle, you'd think they'd choose a cable system that could withstand the engine's heat.
On a Ford Flex, it's simple to put in. I switched towed vehicles and was unable to locate a replacement kit from the tow bar's manufacturer, so I chose this one instead. This one was a lot easier to install than the previous one I had, and it's meant to be left in, whereas the previous one required the cable to be removed when the vehicle wasn't being towed. A small loop protrudes from the bottom center of the front bumper; otherwise, you wouldn't know it was there.
Despite the fact that the item arrived on time, it was of poor quality! All of the outer plastic sheathing had cracks in it. I would have returned it if I hadn't needed it for a trip next week and didn't have the time to wait for a replacement. I'm not happy at all.
For a 2017 Subaru Forester Toad, I'm using a 2017 Forester River. It's a great fit and performs admirably. Make sure you get the operational light kit for your RV so you can see if your toad brakes are working.
It really works. This isn't the first time I've had a similar experience. On a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, this system was installed. Although there is no problem with the product, due to the location of the master cylinder where I wanted to route the cable through the firewall to the brake pedal, installation on the 2016 Jeep Wrangler is a little tight. The products from NSA are always of excellent quality!.
I was dissatisfied with the cable's exterior rubber covering. When I took it out of the bag, it was cracked and peeling off. I understand that it will not degrade the cable and that no one will notice it, but it should be of higher quality or turned off entirely. br> This is the second vehicle I've hooked up to my Ready Brute Elite tow bar to tow. Other than that, everything about this company has been excellent.
The cable kit that came with the original ready brake was definitely not of the same quality. Every 2 to 3 inches, the sheathing is cracked. Who knows what other problems there might be with quality.
Brake assist in your tow vehicle is a simple mechanical system. It came standard on my first Jeep Wrangler, and I'm getting ready to install it on my second.
