This was used to replace the oem vacuum fittings on my 1989 BMW 325is, which had failed after 27 years of service and were no longer holding vacuum. My hoses were changed to a - configuration. To eliminate some of my vacuum leaks, I used AN fittings, which required a smaller hose diameter than the original. This vacuum connector was ideal for the booster as well as the hose I used to connect it to the manifold. It holds vacuum well and looks identical to the BMW unit I would have used if I still had OEM hoses.
My lancer 08 uses the same check valve and grommet, just as I expected. The only visible difference I see is that the valve is red instead of black, which I believe is the only visible difference.
Despite the fact that the grommet's outer diameter was slightly smaller than the Ford original, it fit the booster perfectly. This should work for all F150s from the 8th and 9th generations, as well as a variety of other vehicles. My Ford now has Chevy parts, which is hilarious.
7 hemi. If you have power issues that affect your brakes, this is the solution. br>It saved me a lot of time.
I only used the grommet, but it worked well and was reasonably priced.
