There is one method of confirmation. Whenever you first turn on your car, if it says the brakes are off, push the brake pedal really hard.
Exactly how I wanted it and easy to install for my 2012 GMC Acadia.
The OEM aspect made it attractive to me. We used the product in place of a defective product. As a result, it fixed my traction control issue that my DEALERSHIP was unable to resolve.
After a few hours I was told this sensor needed to be replaced based upon an ODB code. The sensor worked for a couple days and then began to show more codes. The factory sensor seems to be okay, so I am not sure I should replace it. Under the dash, it is located in a very awkward place.
Traction control and cruise control are not working on my 2012 GMC Acadia. It's back to you A total of $15 was spent.
It is no longer a code! The CEL is not working!.
The price and ease of installation make this a great choice.
I have no longer gotten traction control warnings since installing this. The system works.
