I assume you're referring to the under-dash pushrod that connects to the brake pedal? Yes. The MC is attached to the unit's nose by a single bolt. There will be no need for rods. It does not, however, include the gasket that seals the MC housing to the unit. That is something I would always suggest replacing.
This is for HD trucks only. 2500, 3500, and 3500, respectively. I'd look up part numbers in a database.
Not sure. To find out which years can be swapped, you'll need to visit a forum. The hole diameter on this part had to be adjusted slightly.

Perfect fit for a 5 lly. My 04. was bolted right up to it. 5 lly, there's no need to drill the pedal bolt out, and it'll be cheaper if you get new orings for the power steering connections, which it doesn't come with.
I spent hours after installing the unit scratching my head and troubleshooting why my shift interlock and brake lights didn't work—let me save you the trouble of trying to figure it out. br>Some people have had to drill out the under dash rod from the new hydroboost that connects to the brake pedal, according to a few reviews and write-ups. But they never said why, and I assumed it was because the brake pedal pin was slightly too large for the rod to hydroboost to connect properly. br>It turns out that in order for your brake light switch and shift interlock to work properly, you'll need to drill the new HB rod about 1mm larger (not by much). I used a harbor freight step bit to drill out both sides of that rod with one step on the bit, which was all that was required. That's all there is to it. br>And it turns out that this hydroboost unit is a great upgrade for improved performance on your 2001-2002 vehicle. GM's heavy-duty truck for 2010. This is a 2011 model that has been redesigned to improve overall performance.
First and foremost, I'd like to emphasize that this is a fantastic upgrade from a previous model duramax. This brake booster is far superior to the one that came with my 2005 Lly duramax. However, I did replace the master cylinder as well as the brake booster. One thing I'll mention is that I had to use a 17mm drill bit to drill out the hole in the brakebooster because my truck wouldn't start due to a lack of movement in the brake booster rod, but once drilled, it worked perfectly!.
This Hydro Booster does exactly what it says on the tin. Despite the fact that it states otherwise, it was a perfect fit for my 2005 Chevrolet Duramax. My brakes are much more comfortable now than they were previously. This booster comes highly recommended by me.
Most people will not use this product, so I did. Despite the fact that it was designed for a 2011, I installed it in a 2007 truck. To make it work, I had to increase the rod hole size. It cost half as much as a 2007 and is in excellent condition. And it wasn't a rebuild; the brakes are as good as they've been in years.
For a Lot Less, You Can Get Authentic Delco. There's not much to say about this one except that it's an original AC Delco and it's reasonably priced. This is the way to go if you have a GM diesel. Rebuilt junk from the auto parts store is not a good idea. You'll pay the price later.
The item was well-packaged and arrived in two days. With minor modifications, I used it on a 2007 Classic Duramax (LBZ). It performs admirably. It's easy to do, and it's a lot better than having to rebuild everything.
Please note that this part does not fit my 2003 Hummer H2 according to the parts finder. It does, however, fit EXACTLY. There are no modifications to the Hummer or the part required, and installation is simple if you follow the "Chevy 2500HD Brake Booster Replacement" instructional videos. Because this brake booster replaced one that had been leaking for several years, the most difficult part of the installation was cleaning off the old gummed-up brake booster. increase the amount of power steering fluid.
