Is there a charge in the middle of this?

There is no charge in the core. But take a close look at it. The rear of the brake shaft, where the brake light switch mounts are located, had never been flattened. They stay on all the time! Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after I'd finished installing it, and the last step was connecting the brake light switch. Apart from that, it's a fantastic addition to my SVO.

No, I do not believe that is true.

I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but it was a pain to install. I had to do a lot of pounding to get it in, and I had to have a lot of patience. It could have just been the car, but it took me about an hour just to get the studs through the holes on a 1995 Mustang GT.
