Part of the solution to GM's infamous lateral seat movement and click
5/5

If you've arrived at this page, you're already aware that this component is made by the manufacturer. The well-known GM lateral seat movement/click has been recommended as a solution. I'm not sure if this plastic piece is helping to keep the seat in place, but I used it in conjunction with the washer method to make sure everything was covered. The washers on the T30 torx bolt on the other side, I'm willing to bet, are a much more secure "fix" for holding the seat in place. As can be seen on both sides of the bolt between the motor bracket, this design flaw should have been obvious from the beginning. br>br>In order to get this piece in properly, you'll need to put in some effort. If you don't line up and secure both sides of this clip, you won't be able to use it. Adjust the seat as far back and up as possible to get the most clearance.

It is a life saver
5/5

This tiny scrap of plastic has saved my life. If the driver's seat in your Tahoe or other vehicle moves a little and makes a clunk noise, it's time to replace it. it is. This will put an end to the problem. Take it out of the bag and wear it. It will take 5 minutes to complete. To complete the installation, make sure you have a large, heavy-duty zip tie on hand.
