Finding out I didn't need it was a huge relief. Your green wire needs to be grounded and you should be good to go
Thanks for visiting. While the Pioneer bypass will work on the JVC, the Pioneer will not work on the JVC. I thank you very much, Mr. Matthew
In this device, the electronic device is only checked to ensure that it is in great working order There is a brake so that you can view video while watching the screen from the dashboard when you are in motion. This is done rather than an integration of any sort. All it does is send a pulse to the deck to turn it on like an emergency brake.
It is necessary to have an SXV300

It does what it's supposed to, but it could use a quick write-up to explain how cables connect. I am satisfied because it does what it was designed to do. IMPORTANT NOTE The green cable goes to light green (parking cable), black is to ground or the rest of the black cables, and blue is to the remote of the radio (most of the time).
This program is easy to install - You can follow the instructions here or even read other reviews if you prefer. I was able to bypass the KW-26 perfectly with my JVC In a 2004 Toyota Highlander, there is a V66BT receiver. Install this the first time you go to install the headunit so that you don't forget it. Installing the headunit the day after I received it was not an option because I was impatient. Basically, I wired the parking brake switch into the headunit, but instead of operating the features of the headunit via the parking brake, I used it to access all of its features. It's worth a few bucks and a few minutes of your time to install this simple part. And let me tell you, getting to the foot operated parking brake switch on a 1st gen Highlander is a real pain. The bypass unit will not work when spliced into three wires behind the head unit.
I was unable to access the backup camera settings or watch a dvd because the stereo did not recognize I was parked since the truck does not have the parking brake wire. Backup camera worked but I did not have the option to adjust the lines on the screen. According to the directions, I hooked up the 3 wires as instructed and it worked correctly. There was a black wire on the stereo that I hooked up to the wiring harness and then to the black wire from the stereo. A black wire, a gray wire, and a white wire are all connected. The directions told me to run a fourth to the ground on the truck body, but I did not do it.
I used this item with my JVC KWV820BT without any problems. Install was very easy due to the fact that I purchased it along with my new head unit, so it simply had to be wired. This was made simple and straightforward by the instructions.
As I read some reviews about the head unit that I purchased, it mentioned Bluetooth and Spotify issues related to the parking brake, which prompted me to purchase it. It was a big pain to deal with that during a road trip so I decided to buy this rather than try my luck. I tested the player in my driveway and it worked just like advertised. I was able to play a DVD while my car was moving (tested in my driveway), so I will probably only use a disc when it's needed.
Using this product with a JVC KW-77 is a perfect match The V940BW
has a simple connection and uses a touch screen to control the vehicle's features while in motion and is able to play DVDs.
On the basis of the documentation and reviews I read, I verified that the wiring was correct. Thanks to the E brake bypass on the JVC KW-2609, I was able to bypass the apparatus By connecting the wire of the E Brake Switch to common ground, I was able to access all functions of the M560BT. As long as you keep all the connections for the Metra Harness Adapters and Axxess Steering Wheel Control Adapter together, this is the best way to do it since there is already so much wiring.
It has so far been a good experience. By following the instructions on the harness, I was able to connect the 3 wires to the correct spots on the harness, including the parking brake wire. As long as the car is in D and moving, the DVD screen operates. In my car, I also have a DVD player for the rear seats, so I used the video out to connect that to my new radio. When we go on road trips, my wife can watch the movie in the front while my kids watch in the back (instead of just listening).
