Approximately all of the springs in this kit are correct and usable. However, the clips and pins are completely different from original Ford It is very difficult to attach Ford factory retaining pins(4) and spring clips to the retaining studs. These pins and clips have their own unique style and are nearly impossible to install.
The holes for some pins on the brake shoe backing plates are hidden and make it extremely difficult to attach factory clips and pins, these replacement parts are 100 times more difficult A wheel and parts of the adjustment system are larger than the originals, so they are not compatible. Having no use for all the other parts of the kit because of their size or design, I only used the spring set.
You will need a needle nose locking pliers for installing the top spring since this is a quality product at a great price.
Everything fits This spring is extraordinarily strong and it took a lot of effort to get it installed, but that is how it works.
The perfect translation.
It works well, is easy to install, and is worth the price.
There was no way that they would.
As if they came from the factory, all parts fit. Then again, replacing drum brakes on a Ford Explorer is pretty much as enjoyable as getting my head kicked.
From 2002 to There are no parking brakes on a 2005 Ford Explorer. The replacement part is an exact match.
