A similar manufacturing process to I can tell that this item is exactly the same as the Doge OEM part - except that the lever is assemble backwards

However, that is easily rectified by comparing the part to the stock part and rectifying By removing the steel rod from the parking break mechanism, installing the leaver assembly, and then clicking the rod in place (lever end first, then other end), the assembly can be carried out easily. There's no doubt about it it's black Is it really that important? Worked like a charm! The following cons Due to the fact that it is the same as the OEM, it will also break after a few years.

An OEM was installed in place of the original. About five years passed before it was over. Having only owned it for about a year now, it seems to be just as well made as OEC, and at a fraction of the price. I need a new multifunction switch as well, so I plan on getting the Doorman.

There are markings on this part that it is for a 2002 Ram 1500 pickup, but each piece is shaped differently than the original. Neither the mount nor the cable come with the kit. I was fortunate to find that my old mounting hardware was still in working order Since I just inserted the handle from the new kit into the old mount, I didn't have to do anything else. Then it should work just fine. it is also apparent that the color is off as everyone else has posted on here.

The swivel was installed backward at the As I installed this, I discovered that the swivel was installed on the wrong side

It took me no time to flip it over and install it. Although I was able to squeeze one of the legs into place, it was a little hard to snap into place.

The color and the way they were put together are The color was the wrong one, just drak Gary, not the Dodge Agate and put it back together the right way

There's a video on YouTube of how to snap it back together in the right way. However, the one I found to work is the least expensive.
