Yes, this set will cover both back wheels.

Will this work on a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD with two wheel steering? It's for four-wheel steering, according to the label. thanks?

To be honest, I'm not sure it's appropriate for steering wheels. It was the ideal size for my four-wheel drive vehicle. It's possible that you'll need to contact the vendor to find out.

Are these compatible with a 2008 Tahoe? They don't appear to be the same as the ones that are currently in place. ?

Sorry. I am unable to comment on this. They were installed on a 2005 Tahoe.

Is putting them on difficult?

No, putting the new parts in wasn't difficult; the difficult part was reattaching the emergency brake cable and spring.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED! Chevrolet Tahoe, model year 2001 I was in the process of placing an order for the rear brakes
5/5

I realized I needed new brake pads for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. "Hey, it's been years since my parking brake has worked. " After removing the rotors, I discovered that my 18-year-old parking brake shoes had completely worn out. It was a no-brainer, so I placed an order for these. Exact fit, with clip and screw included, as well as other types of attachments. To remove the old shoe from the clip and star adjuster, I used a large flat screwdriver and a hammer. After that, you'll have to experiment to figure out how to get them off the axle properly. Remove the old screw and the clip that was attached to it. br>br>Place the new screw and clip into place. Play with the new one to get it over the axle once more. Place the ends on the star wheel and align it with the clip. The star wheel must then be adjusted. With the rotor on, adjust in or out until you achieve the desired resistance. It's simple and straightforward! My parking brake is now in excellent working order. br>br>If you're not sure how to do it, look it up on YouTube. Living on a hill, having this parking brake work now takes an incredible amount of strain off my transmission while it's parked. There are plenty of videos on this process, and it's not all that difficult. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be This is one of the few parts that can be found for $19 at AutoZone. Amazon costs 99 cents less. The cost of living varies as well. This one was $32 at the time. After a few days, 78 went out and bought another for my other truck, only to discover that the first one was $34. I'm 32 years old, and I have no idea why. Despite the fact that it was the same exact part from the same exact ad just a few days apart, I'm still giving it five stars because it was a quality product that came with everything I needed and was delivered to my door lightning fast. The two have 91 points more than the other. AutoZone. I didn't have to leave the house to get these because they are name brand. I'm not going to complain or lower my rating over $27 because the AutoZone part wasn't Raybestos; it was their brand. With the money I've saved on quality car parts from Amazon, I'm not going to complain or lower my rating. However, the price fluctuation has piqued my interest.

Screws that aren't the right size, and clips that aren't strong enough
4/5

For various GM parking brake design versions, the brake shoe includes a clip and screw kit. None of the screws were compatible with my Chevy Avalanche from 2005. The spring material in the clip that fit my vehicle was weaker than the original, and the spring leaf had no corrosion-resistant coating. The original screws and clips had to be used again. One shoe had a 0. 25 outside diameter. (Measured before installation), one is 015" larger than the other. On the liner of one shoe, there were a few spots of what appeared to be adhesive residue. Cleaning with a razor blade was required. br>br>Aside from that, the installation, fit, and adjustment were all identical to OEM parts. br>br>After about 1,000 miles, the parking brake is still working properly and holding the vehicle steady on steep mountain slopes.

The new clips are not as good as the old ones
4/5

My Silverado is a 2000 with the 10-speed automatic transmission. bolt 3. The rear end has a 73 ratio. The new clips and screws are positioned directly above my original clip and screw in my photo. None of the new screws are the same size as the old ones, and none of the new clips are the same style as the old ones. The first new clip, the one with the wings, was, however, functionally identical. I simply used that first one in conjunction with my old screw, and it worked perfectly.

a good substitute for 99- 06 Z71
5/5

It's perfect for an 03 1500 Z71. It's a pain to get them off around the hub, regardless of the manufacturer. Re- Because I used clips instead of the ones provided, I didn't use the ones that came with the kit. However, it appears that they offer a variety of options for various vehicles. When in drive, the truck is held in place. It seems to work for me.

Parts that are good value for money
5/5

They are as expected in terms of fit and function. These brake shoes perform as expected; however, because organic is a little soft, care should be taken when installing them so as not to damage the pad surface. Once you've used it a few times, it has a great bite. This kit also includes a number of difficult-to-find small parts, which I appreciate. For the price, it's a good deal.

Money well spent
5/5

Top-hat brake shoes in excellent condition. I didn't use them because I didn't need them, but they are in perfect condition. The original ones were worn out, I assumed, based on the advice of a so-called mechanic. WRONG! br> br>I discovered the real issue when I disassembled the rear brakes. He was bursting at the seams with! @$. If you want a job well done, this is the place to go. It was a good lesson. Disassemble first, take a good look around, and then place your order as needed. They'll have to do for the time being. Two thumbs up from me.

For your original parking brakes, this is a great replacement AND upgrade
5/5

Excellent quality and fit! If you're rebuilding your parking brakes, this is a must-have. On my 2002 GMC 1500, I put in a kit. I bought the truck new and was able to drive away with the parking brakes on, which I did until they were worn out. This pair of shoes is significantly superior. When I apply the brakes, the truck does not move until I release the brake. The parking brake held up a lot better than I expected. By a large margin, Raybestos parking brakes outperform the originals. Because of the wear on the parking brake surface, I also had to replace the rear brake rotors. I got the rotors from Amazon for a lower price than I could find anywhere else, plus they came with free shipping!.

Genuine General Motors parts made in China
4/5

For my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500, I try to replace worn-out parts with AC Delco genuine parts. These are genuine ACDelco parts made in China. I was able to get one side to fit into the adjusters, but not the other. When I compared them to the original, it was clear that the latter was significantly longer. To get it to fit, I had to grind down about 1/16" The quality has deteriorated to the point where it can no longer be considered acceptable. The rear rotors were also replaced, and they were made in China as well.
