It was supposed to fit perfectly in my 2008 Nissan Frontier, but it turned out to be a disaster! Why did I require new parking brake pads that would last for the rest of my life? Well, I kept hearing a clunking or rolling tapping noise coming from the rear end, and my first thought was that the rear diff had failed
5/5

However, I traced the noise to the outside of the axle and concluded that the bearing was faulty, but that was not the case. It was a pad that had delaminated or come loose from its metal backing. I removed the wheel and rotor, and one of the passenger-side pads was loose in the rotor. For that type of sound, the best-case scenario is I reinstalled everything except the pad's meat and ordered these from Power Stop. They arrived in a few days, along with the new rotors and pads I ordered to redo the entire rear brake system. These fit perfectly and work perfectly after the tensioners or adjustment tabs have been adjusted. br>br>An important point to keep in mind: After bleeding the brakes, I blew the master cylinder, which had to be replaced, then the rear calipers locked up, requiring replacement, and finally the fronts were shot, necessitating replacement. So, thank goodness for this simple-to-follow guide. Replace rear rotors, pads, and parking brake pads, front, rear calipers, and master cylinder for $600. Awesome. Nissan, don't you adore it? However, because I use high-quality equipment, this should be the last set of calipers I need to install.

Nissan Frontier, model year 2012
5/5

These parking brake shoes were installed on my 2012 Nissan Frontier with 108,000 miles and are in good working order; this item only includes the brake shoes. It's also a good idea to replace the parking brake hardware. The adjuster spring and the return spring, in particular, could lose tension over time, so I bought the Raybestos Parking Brake Hardware Kit (p/n H17400) on Amazon separately for about $18.
