Will I be able to order two for each side of the vehicle if I order two?

I believe they work on either side because I didn't have to choose between the passenger or driver side rear, and it bolted right up and is working fine on my 2000 Silverado 1500 z71.

Is this part suitable for both the driver and the passenger?

We put this item in the passenger rear side and it fit perfectly fine there. It looks like it also fits the rear driver side but I am not 100% sure.

Is this compatible with a Silverado from 2002?

I'm not sure if it's a 2500 or a heavier model, but it should fit a 1500.

For a 1/2-ton Chevy pickup, a 6 rear end is required. Even though the vehicle fitment says it doesn't, it appears to fit an 02 rear end as well. The bracket is exactly as it should be, but the box was severely damaged during shipping; I'm not sure who is to blame.
