What type of cable are you using? When I ordered the front parking brake cable, they sent me the release, so I had to order the pedal assembly in order to get the front cable for my 2006 Canyon.
It's a Hummer/Colorado original equipment part.
It is designed to fit a Chevy Colorado from the year 2005. GMC Canyon is another option. or Isuzu Truck, to name a few. From 2004 to at least 2008, I believe it was the same.

I had to pry open the hook to get it open. Installing this is a bit of a pain, but not too bad. I had to pry open the hook where the cable's end connects to my truck and then squish it shut when I was finished, but it wasn't a big deal. It functions admirably. It's a shame GM didn't come up with a more secure way to secure the e-card. to this cable's brake release handle; These things are rumored to be prone to breaking (but they're inexpensive enough to get a spare!).
Exactly the same as the original oe. Fantastic value for money.
I was very pleased with the OEM replacement part. Because I yanked on the plastic e-mail cable, I had to replace it. I shattered a plastic retainer clip while releasing the brakes. Just a heads up: unplug the e-mail cable. To remove the cable from the lower dash console, first remove the brake assembly under the dash, then reach behind the lower dash and twist it. It's pretty straightforward.
It fits perfectly on my 2007 Chevrolet Canyon Colorado and performs exactly as it should.
It appears to be brand new. a precise description.
They will not return in full if it does not!.
