Parking Brakes (350) Tips should be installed. I was able to install the axles without having to take them out. Connect the top of the rear spring to the brake pads and squeeze them together. With standard hand tools, the other Springs can be stretched and installed. Overall, if you don't take off the axles, figuring out how to stretch the top back spring is a pain in the neck. The next one took me about two hours from beginning to end once I figured it out.
These springs and hardware went in and fit like the OE springs they replaced, so if you don't want to buy factory parts, Dorman is a great option. Dorman even threw in a smidgeon of grease for the star wheel adjuster.
Although this is a good spring and retainer set, installing them is a pain.
Everything you'll need for a full brake job.
In my 2002 Ford F-150, it worked flawlessly. 250.
