Questions & Answers

The switches come with it, right?

You are not clear on what you are asking for. Can you switch? The electrical connections did, and if you did not plug them in directly, they sent you an adapter

There's something wrong with my brain This master cylinder was built in the 11th month of 2000. Will this master cylinder fit my 2001 truck even though my truck was built in the 11th month of 2000. How do I connect the mast to the connector?

That should be the case. You can simply type in the size or the model of the engine, Buy it if you see on the site that it fits, if it does not then This is as simple as it gets. It solved my braking issue and did not cause me any problems.

The value is good, but the quality is poor
4/5

I have one on my 2001 Ford Focus I have a 150 and it's working fine, but I think the seller can Since I have been working on cars at home for over 50 years, this is my first master cylinder installation. An ad must also inform the customer that they will need to bench bleed the MC before installation and that they are required to purchase a bench bleeding kit. I just found out I could buy them on Amazon for half the price of my local O'Reilly store where I had to go after the fact. Had I known I would have purchased them with my Visa card. In the end, I bought a Dorman kit from O'Reilly since I had no choice. It comes with black hoses, so I would not recommend it. I don't get how you can I was fortunate to have crystal clear skies. The pneumatic brake bleeder I purchased from Amazon was very useful - without it I would have had to maneuver around like Popeye with a vacuum pump in my forearm to bleed my brakes. Would love to see some guidelines sent by the seller or Dorman on how to avoid any pitfalls of bench bleeding. YouTube and the World Wide Web are useful sources of instructions, pictures, and videos. The WWW is an essential part of modern life and you cannot ignore it.

According to its description, it works
5/5

Identical to the original OEM part, the product is a good replacement. It looks like there will be no problem for now. It's unlikely that a part that has lasted 18 years will be produced in the future.

Installation is quick and simple
5/5

To stop, I had to push very hard. Since I knew the brake booster was in good shape, I ordered the master cylinder, and now the brakes are functioning better than ever.
