After reading other reviews, I had an idea of what to expect with these, but I hadn't expected them to be this good. In contrast to the polished valve stems, the valve stems themselves are more dull than polished. Because I knew I would have to replace the caps anyway with those that are a bit longer, I didn't give it too much thought. In general, these seem to seal well with the rubber grommets and look good on the wheel so far, I'm happy with them. I would prefer it if they looked like the stock photo, but they are much cheaper than that.
It is difficult to tell the true value of a product from the photo Approximately 1 foot is exposed on each end of the valve stem Despite having a diameter of 1 1/4", the finish appears to be aluminum rather than pure copper. Are they capable of doing what they are supposed to? This is most likely to be the case. Is it okay to look at them? No, it isn't, according to me. Does the length match the description?.
Don't waste your money if you want to buy these. I bought them for my fifth wheel. There were only leaks and they failed to I have recently upgraded my rims, fitted new tires, and added a TPM system. Thank goodness I have noticed the tire pressure slowly declining after 50 miles. Compressor was filled to 15 psi again the following morning. I spent the time to remove all the tires from the vehicle and take them to the nearest tire shop to replace the stems threw them out because I did not.
There were valve stems available where I was having my tires installed that bolted to the rim from the outside. It was impossible for me to use a wrench or socket with my rim. This is why I bought them through I was happy with the price and the delivery time.
I really like them. You cannot bend them when you fill up your tire with air.
This is junk. China made valve stems with the least amount of rubber possible when it was cheaper to do so. Valve stems with grommets, one each for each side of the rim, but no valve stem base, are weak valve stems.
I tried them on my Tacoma wheels but they did not fit. Neither my wife nor I like the aluminum body, it feels cheap or weak.
