The company. The trailer I purchased used is a car hauler trailer. As I dragged it down the mountain without the trailer brakes working, it was a real struggle to push it down the hills (heavy). When I took the master cylinder apart, I discovered that it had been disconnected? The bike was built years ago and it was full of rust and might be full of other things. Then after spending about 4 hours searching for the trailer part number at the big retailers, I did a general search on Amazon and it turned out to be the cheapest and fastest delivery option. A direct replacement was found for the part. Note When you search Amazon automotive I have only one issue with it the thing you have to go through to find out if it is for your vehicle is, when you type in a make and year, you're going through multiple results that look like the part. There could have been a little more clarity at that point in the process. The least expensive part is ALWAYS the right part, NO! All of my projects begin with the least expensive part! The parts that go into my cars all seem to be the most expensive.
Our 1960 CJ5's brake wheel cylinder was fully functional since we installed this spare. The fit and finish was great, and it looks like a genuine OEM part. Installation went smoothly, and so far it's working well.
It was the right fit for my 1953 CJ3B. Bench bleeding must be done according to the instructions. In that case, it is quite easy to install. The symptoms I experienced were a hard initial peddle, which eventually softened and went The master cylinder was at fault, and the new cylinder completely solved it.
The kit I used is for my 1953 CJ3A Jeep. The sizing was perfect and the product works perfectly.
I used this on my '62 Studebaker Hawk. It was so easy to use. This will be the second time I buy. The whole car was done with one roll.
An old 1960 master cylinder started leaking out of the plunger boot, so it was time to replace it. I removed the old unit, compared it with the new one, and it was an exact match. I installed it, and we now have brakes once.
I was very happy with the outcome.
Worked like a charm, and the quality is excellent.
