Questions & Answers

Do you know how many threads and what size they are for the threaded end?

For a -, it's standard threads. The fitting is 6 AN. If you take a look at the top of the page, you'll notice that It will tell you if there are 6 AN threads on the internet.

Is the barb end of the hose 3/8 in diameter?

Yes, the fitting is made for push lock hose with a 3/8" ID (6an). If you use another type of hose, you'll need to clamp it or it'll leak.

Will the oil cooler system be able to withstand this?

You'll be fine if you use push-lock hose; I've used these with fuel lines and had no issues.

Is stainless braided line compatible with this?

It wasn't designed to be used with anything other than the Push Fit Hose. It's a completely different set of circumstances. If it were up to me, I wouldn't do it.

If you're putting twistlok fittings and hoses together, the Koul tools hoses assembly fixture might come in handy. It's pricey, but it'll make your life easier.
