I bought it to replace the 21-year hose on my Bayliner Capri (WT21PAB-1) from 2001. 1 Escort vehicle). The surge-protection system is installed in my trailer. Brakes of the Titan 60 type. br>The hose matches the original perfectly. Quickly and easily installed. br>br>My original hose appeared to be in good condition and could have probably been used for a while longer, but it had been sitting for years and I didn't want to risk it. In general, rubber on boats does not degrade - it ROTS. It doesn't matter if it's brand new or not. Rubber does not like time. It will still degrade, rot, and crack over time. particularly if it hasn't been properly stored. br>br>Specifications in terms of technology: The hose measures 18 inches in length. Male 3/8-inch on one end, Female 3/8-inch on the other. Female 3/8-year-old, and the other is 24. Inverted flare fittings are used on both ends. br>br>The hose lock is not included with this hose. It is a separate purchase that must be made. The Raybestos H1457K hose lock was purchased. These are identical to the ones shown in the trailer. br>br>It's difficult to give an overall rating to a part like this because only time will tell how well it performs and holds up. If anything noteworthy goes wrong, I'll update my review!.
Restoring a 16-foot boat trailer to use as a flatbed/car trailer with dovetails. I'd like to keep the hydraulic surge brakes rather than replacing them entirely with electric brakes to save money. The rubber transition brake line from the frame to the axle tube was replaced with this line. I believe this is probably applicable to all situations, but it worked well for me. The new line and fittings are fantastic.
On the hot rod I'm building, I'll be using these to extend the front rubber brake lines. 3/8- 3/8-inch male inverted flare on one end, 24 inverted flare male on the other On the other hand, there are 24 female inverted flares. The hose has the same sae rating as my other lines, so I'm confident that it will serve the purpose I need it to.
It's as simple as a brake line. It was a perfect match for my boat trailer. At each end, the fit was perfect.
br>I've used a number of them on trailer brake systems. Other places sell the same hose for around $30.
Fits the Mitsubishi Fuso fe from 1995.
It was exactly what I was looking for and fit perfectly.
