If the dealer does not flash the computer, the ABS and traction control lights will remain on. In my local Chrysler/Dodge dealer, I paid $170 for it.
There will have to be a program for it
You must include a model year and make. The one I got for my Dodge Ram 1500 has been installed

I used the part, despite the advertisement stating that it wouldn't fit in my vehicle. A warning cluster began flashing messages, and the chime would not stop, but when the dealer flashed it, all the dummy lights and messages stopped. When I told him what I paid for the part, he just shook his head and congratulated me on my work. For the repair, I originally received a quote of $2300.
It must be reflashed by the dealer after installation.
My RAM 5 is a 2014 model, and I would like to make sure that this product works with it. Seven thousand and five hundred bighorn sheep. Considering Interstate Dodge dealerships' prices were less than a fraction of this price, I was concerned. Taxes and parts would amount to $1000+ for the parts department. It only took 20 minutes after I had changed out the part in the dealership parking lot to have the truck programed. I am not seeing any lights now that everything is working like it should.
I got the chip flashed at the dealer and it worked like it should. A dealer threw it in for $140.
There were only the screws and the rubber seals attached to the module.
It fits my 2015 Ram Sport but needs to be flashed by the dealer so that the same VIN number can be programmed. As shown on the picture, all the parts arrived in great condition. We are very satisfied with the results!.
Everything went according to plan. Even so, I had to go back to Dodge to have it reprogrammed.
The scanner had to be programmed, but I was able to get it to work.
