I installed it on a 2000 Blazer ZR2 with a 4 liter battery.

I used it on a 2000 S10 Blazer 2 door (tailgate and lift glass) and it worked beautifully. Over a year before, it took two people to open the rear glass, one relied on the dashboard button and the other relied on a handle on the glass. It turned out to be quite a challenge to find the right switch after confirming it was the switch. Glass releases in the style of the lift gate were everywhere, but not those in the style of the tailgate. I had a hard time installing as well, but the effort was well worth it.
Release on outside of rear window has been replaced. I find this to be very useful.
