As there had been complaints about the Mercedes dealer replacing this knob shaft only to have the plastic replacement befall the same fate a couple years later, I decided to replace the weak plastic Mercedes one with this sturdy There are three Mercedes in my garage, and I will be replacing the other two with this one. I don't know why the Germans, who are supposed to be very smart, didn't design one out of aluminum. It can be quite difficult to install them, as they are similar to other Mercedes parts.
Repairing the cheap plastic shaft that Mercedes uses in its steering wheel is really easy with this tool. You can repair your command wheel if you have some DIY experience, but it is a bit more complicated than expected. If the control center module is disassembled, the product is easy to plug in and play. There was no need to sand or adjust. I'm looking for a 2009 Honda.
You can replace the flimsy plastic shaft that comes with your car with this replacement shaft. The part works great, but you will need to work a bit to get to it.
It gives a lot more power and is less expensive to repair than Mercedes Benzes.
This is a far better part than what was originally used in the control.
Replaced a broken window for 300 dollars for free.
