On my Silverado, I had to use this one, but it was too long and failed after two years. Dorman 924 would be my choice Cable for releasing the latch on the door 481. I have used the Dorman since a year or so ago, and it works perfectly and is an exact OEM replacement. The item is not in my opinion.
The cords were available in a variety of lengths. Your OEM cable should measure only 18", so you should purchase the shorter one instead. As a substitute for the shorter cable, the longer cable should not be used.

The 2010 Sieara with auto start and power locks will not fit.
