I have no problems using it on my As well as learning my ignition, I was hoping to use the new key set to tune up my car. However, I cannot even turn it. Now I have two keys that are old style Chevy keys, which is great.

I found it to be a perfect match for my Avalanche 1500 2004. It was quite the pain in the ass to install the little convex, square, brass, locking washer or whatever you call it, on the back of the cylinder. must press it flat against the surface to get it to slide into place properly. On one end, there is a tiny tab that prevents it from slipping out once it is seated properly.

All you need to do is replace the old locks with new, functional ones! Having the silverado emblem on the keys is a nice touch! I haven't put them on my son's truck yet but I like the way they look!

The OEM price is $145 plus a locksmith fee of $150. This fits perfectly and is much less than the OEM price. In the long run, I have a great deal considering I have two keys. One for the lock and one for the ignition, but I have both keys on my other vehicles anyway.
