Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the two ?

This is a difficult question to answer. Since I have a 2-door car, I'll explain. It is possible to lock or unlock both doors using both door locks. As a result, the switch will work for both doors in my case. Regardless, I am using the switches with Watson's Street Works lucky seven controller which allows me to lock and unlock the car remotely with a fob or with the switches inside In addition to the existing controllers, there are others that perform the same tasks. It is also possible to construct a relay box for this purpose. There is however the need to limit the current in the switches in the event that one switch is pressed in order to unlock the door and the other switch is pressed in order to lock it. With either switch, you could lock or unlock both doors at the same time. To make the control on the driver's side lock and unlock both doors simultaneously, instead of only locking and unlocking the passenger's door, you would need a more complicated relay/logic block. An electrical switch with five wires may be more efficient in that situation. Your question has been answered, I hope. This is the bottom line. You can unlock all two doors with that key. The switches will all lock or unlock all doors, but some may lock or unlock more than one. In order to use relays, you will need them. When you replace switches, buy ones that are similar to the ones you already have. Therefore make sure that you buy 3-wire switches if the originals are 3-wire. Buying 5 wire switches is a good idea if your light fixtures are five wires.

Is this suitable for the right side of the front?

There is a possibility that this switch is correct for both the left and right front of the vehicle, depending on the model. I am Bruce*

The switch on my door needs to be physically removed, so how do I accomplish that? It does not appear to attach to the door panel of my 1975 olds delta 88 nor do I understand how to remove it. How are you?

Having to remove the door panel was the only thing keeping me from pulling the other door.

Could you tell me where I can get the plugs (harness, connector) for ?

You may make a mistake as a user! I had a factory switch fail, but this switch fixed it and looked stunning! The only issue I had was that, when I was disconnecting the old switch, I didn't realize there was a harness, so I cut the wires on one switch (my fault entirely)
5/5

When I cut the wire of the lock that did not have the switch, I installed it in 5 minutes or less!.

The replacement is a good one
5/5

The driver lock switch on my vehicle didn't work, so I replaced it with this switch. As an OE switch, it feels tight and does not feel cheap or sloppy like some cheaper According to the review, the quality is similar to that of the Original Equipment.

I'm okay with a repopulation
4/5

This is a fairly decent repop, the bezel looks much like the original, however it is clear what the difference is in the There is a slight stiffness when moving the lever, so it does not return to its exact location like AC Delco and this price point, I can live with it.

Replacement for brittle switches that were removed from 1993 Chevy G30 RV doors because of heat and age and became brittle due to heat and aging.
