They prevent the seat belt from sliding up against my neck or collarbone, which was the issue that sent me searching for a solution, and which led to me buying these, so I'm happy with them. In my opinion, they are really great quality and do the job. Although they may need to be the way they are to stay in place, I wonder if they could have been made thinner and maybe a squishier material. The shoes are definitely comfortable, but don't misunderstand me. This is really well made.

The belt can be easily worn on the person and retracted. Assuming the Velcro strips are evenly aligned, the belt is easily applied and retracted. It cannot slide easily if the tensions are too tight, and the belt will not retract as it should if it is too tight. When a door is closed, belt buckles can become trapped when they are caught in the frame.

These were bought for a sling after I had my shoulder replaced. There is no need to worry about chafing as the straps of the sling tend to dig into the neck. This is actually my second set of these and they are due to be given to friends who are also going through the same procedure. Additionally, I am sure they would be ideal in the car!.

The cover for this seat belt is attractive. The seat belt works fine when it's in place, but it slides up the belt when I move my shoulder to drive, so I have to constantly hold it down. My preference would be for it to be rubberized on the inside. I do find that it makes my shoulder more comfortable, though.

This was purchased as a gift for my son, who refuses to wear a seatbelt. as if his harness was trying to pass through his skin, so he attached both the padding to the part of the seatbelt across his chest. The result is that he now feels as if he is not even strapped in. The idea that we would have to wear both seatbelts at once alarmed me at first. When I took a break, I realized that having both on might compromise the effectiveness of the seatbelt. Checking at 30 miles per hour convinced me I was mistaken. ACES, I'm very pleased with the value of this product.
