The mirrors worked differently than I had realized nor had I read any reviews that stated what the difference was- Their aim is to increase the panoramic view of the mirror by shrinking the size of the view. This means after it's installed, you're presented with a smaller view of objects/cars in the rear as well as [somewhat more] side views than you would in a full size mirror if you were able to see side views previously. You may have used the larger view your whole driving career, and have judged distance and proximity based on that. It may take awhile to get used to, since you tend to see objects at a much larger size. Can it be installed easily? In short, yes. Are you able to view it easily? The smaller scale is doable, if you can get used to it. Do blind spots need to be eliminated? It's not exactly the same- Since that mirror cannot reveal blind spot objects on the sides, you would be foolish to use it to estimate the distance between blind spot objects. The side view mirrors on my car are already installed to help me see any blind spots along the sides where cars creep up. Therefore, it's an absolute necessity to keep using them to see blind spots. Blind spot mirrors on the sides of the car are more useful than these wide-angle ones I am looking in the rearview I would like to conclude by saying that- While the product appears to be made well, it does not increase the width of view in my 2018 Camry, even though the product seems to be made well. Either you'll like the smaller scale or you'll want to go back to a wider view. In my case, I am still getting used to the smaller scale, so I have yet to decide if it is worth keeping or just another big-ticket item. * Bottom Line for this mirror to eliminate side blind stops, DO NOT expect it to do so- That's not the case! The first update should be made within 10 days of receiving/first use It has become second nature to me now that I've got This mirror offers a better view of my vehicle than the wider conventional rear view mirror which is standard with my Camry, and is definitely superior to the smaller but more restricted view provided by the conventional rear view mirror. Although at first it may seem hard to adjust to the smaller scale, once you get used to it and become comfortable with the scope, size, etc. , you'll be able to see the widened view more efficiently and to spot potential cars behind you, which you never could before. Considering what I have accomplished so far, I might just stick with this mirror instead of the narrower It's worth looking into if being more road aware is important to you.

Exactly as described, this product is as good as it appears to be. A mirror with the same dimensions as the manufacturers mirror is very easy to install and easily fits over it. It is definitely easier to see and the viewing angle is better. This purchase has been a good deal for me.

I have spent a great deal of time searching and this is the best one * My car does not vibrate or jump when I drive it. The item seems to be in good condition (although it just came out). There is no obstruction of the sun shades opening or closing by this. Because it distorts read objects not too badly, it is not too bad in terms of convexity. There is no need to worry about how wide it is. Maybe it's a bit long, but then you might lose Blind spots and everything else are always compromised when it comes to these things. The compromise here seems to be good to me.

If not, skip it and buy a flat mirror. In this mirror, there are no dimming features and it has a convex or curved shape. Several mirrors on this page have curved edges, so this will work if you don't mind curved mirrors. You may want to buy a "flat" mirror instead of a curved one if you dislike curves. This mirror is larger than most standard mirrors, allows you to see more than ever before and provides a panoramic view, but the objects appear smaller than they would be in reality, but you will certainly see more vehicles than you ever have The type of mirrors I have purchased in the past are of this type, and I have three for three different cars (one broke, so I had to replace it). As you can't dim an illuminated rearview mirror at night, they work best if your rearview mirror is tinted, and it takes some time to adjust your eyes to a panoramic curve view. I have found this to be true It is not 5 stars since this version has a slight "shake" or vibration which my other mirrors do not have. I have padded it with foam, etc, and it is greatly diminished but I can still notice it every now and then, maybe it is just my truck. In spite of slouching or sitting differently in my seat after many hours of driving, I can see everything without having to adjust my mirror. As far as seeing the back seat goes, I can also see both my back window and my side window as I have found that if you buy one wider (which I have) you will be constantly looking at yourself, which is weird, so this is perfect for trucks.

The mirror is going to help me see better now that I have my driver's license and wear glasses. This is incorrect. Having to look at this mirror while driving gave me a headache. It has been driving in my dad's car as well, and he said the All of the objects in and around the car seem smaller. You do not seem to be expanding your view that much to be able to consider it Your standard mirror will do better if you keep it. Items like these will be returned by me.

The backseat headrests are so close I couldn't see the entire rear end without this. Now, I can see the entire rear end and a little to the sides! It's so easy to upgrade a mirror if you only have a small one. It took three seconds for the attachment to occur. It is highly recommended.

The mirror seems large to me. I wonder if it will be too much. There should be two whites at an angle for it to be accurate. All of those problems do not exist here. It gives you a small view of inside the vehicle just enough to help you become more familiar with it. This also has a pleasing effect on cars that follow since it makes their lights less bright. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. product appears to be of a good quality, but I was not sure that I would like its kind of mirror, so I am happy to have it. I have to do it. Another great one is this one.

It increased the visibility of the back window in my wrangler because the original mirror only showed a portion of it. Compared to other mirrors, this one has a much wider viewing angle. It provides me with a much better view than my original mirror because I can see out the entire rear window, my baby in the back seat, and with the doors off the rear window is clearer. It was a snap to install The process is very simple.
