It does not, in any way, fit the year 2015. The arms are a complete departure from the rest of the body. This kit is only for people who are 14 years old and up.
It's unclear where the components were manufactured. The instructions are included in the kit. But first, I watched a YouTube video to familiarize myself with the task at hand. A person repairing an F 150 was shown in the video. A F350 is one of the vehicles I own. There were a few distinctions. The video proved to be beneficial. You'll be fine if you've done any mechanical DYI before. Keep an eye on the tool list, whether it's on paper or on video. The truck will be out of commission for the duration of the project. It took me three hours to finish. The track system had to be removed from the truck, which was the most difficult part. I did not, as the video suggested, remove the passenger seat. It was a lot easier to get back in than it was to get out. The sunroof is now fully functional. (At my local Ford dealer, I was quoted $2200 to fix the track and.. "While you're at it, change the motor out as well." ) I haven't done any work with that dealer since.
My truck is a 2013 model, not a 2011 model, so it's difficult to say. Needless to say, it didn't fit my truck, and after installation, the sunroof wouldn't open under power (though it worked fine manually). As a result, the top had to be removed entirely and parts had to be modified. Now I'm wondering how long it'll last before I have to close the sunroof. Fortunately, the installer did not charge me for the additional time (over 4 hours of rework) beyond his original estimate of two hours (total installation time was over 6 hours).
Unfortunately, this Sunroof Repair Kit will not work on a 1998 Lincoln Navigator.

You're in big trouble when the word is "Miss. " I make a living by repairing water leaks, wind noise, and sunroofs. I've done dozens of these F-body rebuilds. 150/250/Expedition/etc. are all possible options. sunroofs. I usually use Sunroof Doctor's online kits, but I saw these on Amazon for a much lower price and decided to give them a try. I bought two of the kits. br>The first one isn't bad. Although the parts are not identical to those used by Sunroof Doctor, the first one worked. The screw holes for the back trough weren't perfectly aligned, but they were close enough. So I used the second kit tonight. I was able to get the guides and arms in. I put the trough guide in and went to attach it to the guide arm (as seen in the photo) and. . . It does not securely "snap" into place. It's a cinch to get out again. It's not good enough. I'm not going to be able to use that one in a vehicle. I also don't have the luxury of waiting for a replacement. Fortunately, I have a few old tracks hanging around from which I salvaged a few useful components. When I did that, I compared them because the old Ford parts fit perfectly, just as they should have. br>Take a look at the image and notice the difference. Now, I'm not sure if that was the case with the first kit I used. I didn't realize it was there until today, when I noticed it. br>I bought these in the hopes that they were all made by the same people and just repackaged by different companies. But it appears that this is not the case. These aren't something I'd recommend. Most people aren't as fortunate as I am in having extra parts on hand. I gave it two stars because the first kit worked and continues to work in a customer's vehicle, but the second kit is causing problems.
It took some time to install this in the truck, and after a week, the track continues to give, allowing the sun roof to detach from its track, allowing air to flow into the vehicle. We've decided to have the truck repaired by professionals, so this was a complete waste of time.
It worked perfectly, and it came with all of the parts I needed to fix my roof. I had to cut two small tabs off of the plastic runners, but they worked perfectly after that!.
I enjoyed it so much that I had it installed by a friend. 100%.
