My 2010 Ford F250 super duty crew cab has it installed. It was a cinch to use. For the lack of instructions, I gave it a four out of five star rating. It may appear petty, but neither does failing to include any installation instructions, let alone a web address recommendation for a video to watch.
It works, but only just. The screw holes are not aligned. Since molds aren't 100% or 80% for that matter, tracks have too much pressure. Plastic that had not been removed had to be cut out. The sunroof is now functional, but it requires more work than is required. Unless you are a professional, this is not a good idea.
The hole for the cross bar does not line up with the hole in the plastic piece, so it will need to be modified to fit the 2007 F150. It was necessary for me to re-write Drill the metal cross bar and remove the excess plastic. The sunroof isn't working as well as it used to. It's still being worked on.
Kit appears to be quite nice, but I'm still waiting for a switch. THE DRIP TRAY SLIDER WAS NOT CORRECT, AND IT CAME WITH NO PAPERWORK. The sliders from the previous (OEM) KIT were used. This was the first time this truck had received this service. br>br>I consider the issue to be minor because the slider simply matches the tray. I'm sure I'll have to replace it again.
This is pure Chinese garbage. Not OEM. On the F250 King Ranch, it does not fit properly. I wasted time and effort removing seats, trim, and the headliner, when this part would have been perfect if it was what it was supposed to be. I don't think Ford sells them separately (you have to order the entire 1K plus assembly), so it wouldn't have been worth it to do so in the first place.
It's the kit I was looking for, but there are no instructions. If you want to learn how to do it yourself, just look up a video on YouTube. They have labels on them. The letters L and R stand for left and right, respectively. All you have to do is look for the bare stamps on each piece. There's no need to make any assumptions.
There were no instructions, there was insufficient grease, and the screw hole on the track didn't line up with the one on the back drip pan, but it all came together and worked.
After watching a YouTube video, I completed this repair myself; it was fairly simple, except that the parts included in this kit were not labeled for left or right. I also had to figure it out on my own because there were no instructions or directions. It all worked out in the end, and I saved a ton of money over going to the dealer!.
