I bought it for an E550 and ended up using it on a C250.

With a little effort, it can be made to fit

I was initially concerned that this wouldn't fit my 2011 E350 4-door sedan. Matic, but when I took the motor out of the equation (three stars) I noticed the motor shaft had a slightly peened end (thanks to head bolts and one easily unclipped wire fitting). To tap the gear into place, one could file off some of the peening, or, as I did, heat the gear gently but medium to hot (no color change, just hot), slip it over the shaft as far as possible, and gently but firmly tap it all the way down the shaft. I was able to reinstall the motor and put everything back together after that. It was necessary to reset my sunroof by putting it all the way back to the point where it would open on its own, then slowly but steadily bringing it all the way back with an allen wrench (mine wouldn't go all the way back/open), then following the rest of the procedure: UP 5 seconds, REAR 5 seconds, FORWARD 5 seconds (if yours doesn't), and then DOWN 5 seconds.
