No, it doesn't. Only the sliding clips for the driver's side of the moonroof shade were present on my car, so this eight-piece kit is excessive. There is an issue with the hole spacing on them. I suppose they could be drilled to fit, but they're only a quarter of the kit. The remainder is thrown away. The two spring clips on the passenger side appear to be replacements, but they aren't screwed on in my car, so they can't be replaced. If the other two pairs of parts are some kind of magic for repairing the components on my car, the vendor didn't explain how. It does not appear to me to be the case. I am returning this kit after getting my old clips back in shape.
The product was delivered on time and in good condition. Although the mounting holes were identical to those on the OEM braket, the braket's length was not. It was just a smidgeon of a second shorter. br>br>I got it to work by trimming some of the sunroof's plastic where the braclet came flush with the sunroof with my dremel tool. It fit perfectly once that was done. Glides effortlessly.
For video repair instructions, you should go to YouTube. The setup is a little difficult, but it went smoothly for me. Remember to keep your shade tracks clean and lubricate them with grease. WD- It's not good enough to be 40 years old.
The sunscreen glides are operated by only two parts. The zinc pieces are not removable or replaceable, and there are no instructions included.
We'll see how well the clips hold up over time. For the time being, everything is working perfectly!.
For the e46 sunroof repair, I used Lincomatic's guides as well as the Bokchoy DIY sunroof repair, and you can't go wrong with those and this kit. br>br>With a little extra effort, the cover looks great.
Great fit.
Parts for both sides were not provided. My upholstery guy was able to come up with something for the other side, but this kit didn't provide a complete solution.
