It's plastic, after all. I watched and followed along with a YouTube video. Until I reassembled it, everything was fine. The brackets are mostly plastic, so this is just poor design on Ford's part. As I was reinstalling the crossbar, the rear damper bracket snapped. Because the original pieces were still usable, I was able to use them, and the rest of the process went as planned. My sunroof was already broken when I bought my 2004 F150 used in 2013. I turned off the switch because I don't use the sunroof very often. But for less than $30, I decided to fix it. Now it's working perfectly.

My kit didn't come with instructions, and youtube didn't have a video for replacing the tracks on a 2004 Ford F350. I could only find videos for newer trucks in the videos I found. What do you do with the pop rivets that came with the kit? Pop rivets are not present on the truck's original tracks.

Parts did not move freely. Openings needed to be reworked because they were too small.
