Subaru Genuine F541SAL000 Moonroof Air Deflector, 1 Pack

When I purchased my outback last month, I noticed that the moon was setting quicker this month compared to last year I noticed that when driving at higher speeds, the audio player in my car produced an almost vibrating sound when the roof was open. I didn't find it awful, but I did find it It was something I had to have once I saw I was surprised by how fast it arrived and that all the items for the installation were included (except for some tape and a screwdriver). It was not clear what the instructions were, so I used two pieces of thick plastic tape that looked to be double-sided to help stick the air deflector in place. These are not a form of protection instead, they protect the car from the clips. If you carefully examine the drawing, you will see that they are applied to the car's interior on the inside edge where the clips attach. The clips are placed first, then you pull down and tighten them with a screwdriver after they're centered. With its clean and neat look, this provides a good way to keep the cabin from getting swept away in the wind. Additionally, since it's a DIY install, you save a lot of money compared to having it pre-installed This is an original factory installation. It is apparent from the sticker on the box that instructions are not included, and I am directed to the Subaru website to obtain them. I found the website to be designed for technicians, and there was a $35 charge for accessing the instructions page for 72 hours. That made me mad, and I posted that fact on the website as a negative review. I also sent a written complaint to the company. My inquiry was quickly responded to and the instructions for a Subaru Outback moonroof deflector were sent to me My primary issue centers around the fact that when I searched for this item on Amazon, the page result said the deflector would fit my In the end, I managed to successfully install it, but it was a choppy process. Two flat hooks are attached at the bottom edge of the deflector to catch on the bottom edge of the metal of the car in front of the moonroof so that the deflector can be fixed in place. I think the installation could have been fast and simple if the hook or the screw which secures the hook piece to the deflector had been just a couple millimeters longer. My arms and my upper body were all I could use to apply significant downward pressure to the hook on the driver's side in order to press it down far enough to catch the lip. I disliked what I saw on the passenger side. In order to sit on the thing, I had to use my brother to help press the hook inward as I placed a board on top of the deflector and climbed a ladder. With my 215 lb. weight I was still able to accomplish the task. Because the hook could not latch with my body weight, some maneuvering was required. As stated above, this would have been fine for a Crosstrek if the steel screw or plastic hook were a few millimeters longer, but they aren't, and it would have been far too difficult to install.

A very good product that's easy to install and has excellent quality. Having a sunroof has a significant impact on how useful it is. As a result, wind and noise are significantly reduced. I now drive much more often with the windows open, even in cool weather. If you have cracked open a window, this might come in handy. Rather than the sunroof, I open it now. It is rare for me to open my sunroof without this. This product is great! I highly recommend it!.

Packaged with the item were no instructions. My access to the instructions was restricted only for 72 hours since the website asked for $35 for 72 hours of access. This is a terrible situation, and Amazon must address it. If I fail to follow instructions, I will try installing it myself. In case of pain, go back to the drawing board. I must say it again, I am.
