Its design concept was cool, but the quality of the build and parts are terrible. It would have been better if the wheels and springs were There are still a few loose parts and overall, they're still a bit close to the ground, making them difficult to move After not even a month, the rubber bumpers of my phone are already tearing, so I avoid touching them at all costs. In my opinion, only one of these is well-suited It is made of wood and is called a platform. Quality would be worth paying a bit more for, if that were what the product was built like. I think it is a good idea that My belief is that it will not This device slides away from me when I lean over the roof when I'm detailing my car.
Could I receive a higher rating if I assembled, kept, and used it? Despite the fact that they look new, the parts are in poor condition! The painted and unpainted metal finishes are rough [not smooth!] It is bare metal showing through pits and voids on the painted surfaces. No primer appears to have been applied to the painted metal. A large portion of the bare metal would have appeared to have not been prepared in any way prior to painting [ground/sanded]. My bet is I will send back this item since it is 'Junk' for the price paid! I seriously consider returning it! It is my intent to contact the naming manufacturer [Steck] regarding the conditions of the product once it has been shipped!.
As soon as I learned that we were going to be painting the inside of the house over the next five days, I knew I would need something to help with high spots. A perfect fit for me! I could set it low enough that I could just step up to it or set it high enough that I needed a step block. When it wasn't being used for standing or sitting, it was a great platform for painting high or low. It is wide and comfy for standing and this platform is sturdy enough to feel safe being on it for long periods of time. It was noted by all the people that came to help over the days that this was an outstanding aid. That investment has definitely been worth it and I will use it again for many future projects at home.
A nice feature is the adjustable height. I removed the wheels because they would roll away when you leaned over the engine compartment working on a vehicle. Not having wheels on it is not a big deal since the product is light enough. It is easy to hold onto the platform with its grips.
have been using this in my workshop for quite some time, and it is one of the very few tools I could live without. ADD THIS TO YOUR BASKET AND IT WILL HELP YOU TO LAST FOR YEARS. There is no way I can lose this weight. ASK ANYONE AND THEY WILL tell you that IT IS COMPLETELY ROCK STEADY. WHEN YOU ONLY ARE IN NEED OF A STEP OR SO, IT IS A 100 TIMES BETTER THAN A 5FT LADDER. AS IF IT WAS A STEP, IT LOWERS TO A FUE INCHES. When the time comes, I will rest my cast-iron saw tables on it when I need to get under it for maintenance. It is the best step I've ever seen.
Any person who needs just a little boost will find this perfect.
It is a good product. The shipping industry is in poor shape. The product was scratched and scuffed, and it had paint chipped off in places in the box.
