Despite the description stating that mesh has protection from the elements, I should have expected that mesh was not waterproof. Rain is one of the elements of weather to me.
Having a mesh top is more appealing to me. The windows let in the proper amount of light and air to keep your interior comfortable. Also conveniently provided are cut-out provisions that allow you to use the stock grab bars on the front of the vehicle.
But I've had it for a few weeks now and it's already broken and the back strap tore while I was putting it together. Besides that, it offers great shade and helps prevent your interior from getting too hot during the day.
The top is easy to Please keep in mind that you will need to order the front channel as well.
You can use it in the summer time when your Jeep has a hard top. Make sure you buy the windshield channel bar if you have one.
