I have to paint them as they have some scuffing, as well as marks where the paint was scrapped off, which means they will start to rust, that is disappointing. They did have no problems installing but do feel sturdy, fit well on my 2020 Ram 2500. The rest of the time, they are who they say they are and they do what they say they will. Despite the fact that it is an inexpensive, basic product, the hardware is quite good and the brackets and braces are of decent quality.
My expectations weren't met, but they look fantastic and blend in very well with the body. There is only one small problem the support's screws stick out of sight due to their chrome finish. Black screws would have been preferred if it had been shipped with them. The rest of the purchase was satisfactory, and I recommend it.

I had some trouble installing it, but the instructions were easy to follow. A pinch weld is difficult to tighten because the bolts that pass through it are challenging. My mistake on the passenger side was to tighten the pinch weld bolts before installing the step bar, making it easier to tighten, but this caused the steps to hang lower than the drivers side. I had to loosen the bolts once everything was in place and tighten them thereafter. I used a 10mm ratch wrench to tighten the pinch weld bolts, which made the job a lot.
This is a fuel saving device that my husband bought for our Ram 2500 truck that I will be driving to work, so that we can save on miles and fuel. I would have had to slide out and have smashed my knee without them. Easily got into and out of the truck and looks great at the same time! During installation, everything went according to plan. It took him a little longer, but the weather had something to do with it. It would be recommended.
The product is of great quality and looks great. Despite having to modify the driver's side front bracket to fit my 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel crew cab, it is working well. After I finally installed them, I am very pleased with the outcome.
