The rear fender liner does not completely cover the frame, but it does extend below the frame's top. I like them and would buy them again, but I believe they could be a little lower at the frame to keep salt off the spring shackles, which rust easily.
It will, without a doubt, fit. I installed it on my Ford F150 (2021) and it looks and works great. I've included photos in my Amazon review so you can see how it looks.

Selected User Reviews For Rough Country Rear Wheel Well Liners for 2015-2020 F-150-4515
150 XL. After reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about the quality and potential fitment. But I made the decision to give it a shot - I'm still willing to take a $100 risk. I didn't get them in a box, and they were only connected by zip-ties. tie. Is it still a problem? No way! The bolt and clips packet is securely fastened to the internal liner (which was stacked one inside the other). ) I put them up in less than 15 minutes, even though the first liner took a little longer - Initially, I was unable to locate the proper method of installation. The fit is ideal - On both liners, all of the holes correspond to the U-shaped pattern. clips, as well as the hole in the back. The difference is probably about a quarter inch, and it's definitely within the range of plastic play. The simplest way to put it in place is to rotate it counterclockwise first, making sure the back side is inside the rib, then accurately rotate clockwise until the back side is in place, then slightly bend the front side and place it in place. Sorry for the lack of clarity, but I'm sure you get the picture. I agree that instructions could be more precise - However, I've seen far worse: After all, if you're going to be honest with yourself, you're going I am quite pleased with my purchase - I would strongly advise it.
The product is extremely rigid and has a 1/16" wall thickness. You wouldn't be able to bend it into place if it was any thicker. They fit snugly in place without any of the hardware; the hardware simply ensures that they don't fall out. It took about 20 minutes for me to complete the task. It took me 30 minutes to put the first one on, but the second went on quickly because I knew how to do it. I have a 2018 Ford F150 and discovered that the body hardware holding the wheel well trim in place was sticking out too much, so I had to pop it out. It was also easier for me to start from the back of the wheel well. Because the mfg holes didn't line up with the body trim hardware, I had to drill some extra holes in the liner, but this was simple because I had already removed them, so I drilled through the body trim holes into the liner after it was installed. Then I reinstalled the body hardware, which fit perfectly through the newly created holes.
If you're under the age of 150, you should only buy these with caution. I tried everything I could to get them installed (into the wheel wells), but it was impossible. I contacted Rough Country for help because the directions are a disgrace (poorly written and lacking in supporting images). Their assistance was completely insufficient (the representative advised me to remove four factory-installed plastic rivets). The kit did not include any replacements. Later, it was discovered that these instructions were completely absurd. br>I ended up returning them and ordering a new set from Penda (which are identical to OEM Ford parts).
It can be a little difficult to fit the edge of the liner under the inside rear fender lip if you don't wear durable gloves, but it only takes about 15 minutes per side if you use some force to fit the liner inside the fender. The only minor issue I had was a trim piece held on by two plastic darts on the back end of the truck fender. Only one of the two dart holes was perfectly aligned; the other was angled slightly. I used a propane torch to heat a center punch and use it to adjust the second dart hole, and now the two darts fit perfectly into the liner. For a set of these, the local dealer quoted me $250 installed. Despite the fact that these are not Ford-branded units, they are of OEM quality and fit, in my opinion.
Inner Liners are a fantastic invention. Putting it on is a breeze. The only issue was getting the weather tech mud guards back on. It was a pain to get the liners back on because they were so close to the fender wall. It would have taken about 45 minutes to install both sides if it hadn't been for that. Furthermore, the wheels do not need to be removed. They look fantastic on my 2016 Ford F-150. Lariat Sport FX4 150.
They appear to be fantastic. F150 model year 2015. XL Screw. It was a perfect match. It is simple to put together. Allow 20 minutes for them to sit in the sun. It's crucial to start with the front edge. Money well spent- They're plastic, so they're cheap to manufacture but expensive to transport. The value is in the appearance, and there is no annoying 'ting' sound from rocks hitting the underside; they've held up well so far.
The driver side doesn't line up with the screw that the instructions said to remove first. br>br>I spent 30 minutes bending the plastic to fit on each side, and these won't move once they're screwed in. If I had to do it all over again, I would spend a few extra dollars on the Ford OEM. They are flush with the surface and line up with all of the screws and pins. br>br>In addition, mine do not come packaged. So the Liner, which was zip tied together, was delivered by the UPS driver.
Fender flares are not present on this 2018 Ford XLT. br>br>This was the simplest upgrade installation I've ever done. Both sides have a maximum time limit of 10 minutes. Get these; they look fantastic and are incredibly simple to install. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews. I believe they consumed an excessive amount of beer.
