It was my hope that I would really like these but the gap between the rocker panel and the tube is huge. Neither I nor the manufacturer understand the reasoning behind this, but it doesn't enhance the appeal of an otherwise attractive product. They should design these by adjusting the brackets to tuck the step up higher and closer to the truck. In this case, there is no explanation for the design error. In addition, I don't think the same logo should be on the same side of the truck twice. You get one for every step and that's just not needed. Consider not emblazoning it at all or etching it before painting it to make it as discreet as possible. A design can also be less attractive (before installation) because of that. Moreover, mine had a small dent on them which I did not notice until after I installed them. The bubble wrap had never touched it before shipping. It seems to me that mounting the brackets first and then assembling the steps would be easier. In addition, there are no bolts to attach the brackets to the step, which means it is easier to maintain and there are fewer bolts to corrode. When the bolt didn't quite line up with the threaded hole on the passenger side rail, I took a drill and drill bit to it and made it a bit bigger, just enough to get it to line up with the threads on the truck. On the driver's side, it's all lined up as if it was a car. The installation is not difficult other than that. It looks like the steps are solid.

I put these on my Trail Boss 2021 and they are of high quality, the packaging is great and the installation is straightforward. It's a shame I have to agree with one of the other reviews about the gap between the tube and the If only the gap could be tightened, then these steps would be perfect for me. Despite their age, they still look fine. At this point, I am not sure whether or not to return them. On both the right and left sides, the bolt holes were off for the horizontal bolt. Probably caused by the welding process. If you're mechanically inclined, it was not a big deal. It took me about an hour to walk by myself since I'm 60 years old.

You're right that they are suitable for the job. 3 weeks have gone by since I have received the package and have not received the hardware kit that was supposed to come with it.
