In fact, frame is mounted to where the body is attached to the Although you don't need to be very mechanical to install it, it's not difficult. It only took me a few extra bolts to ensure they did not come loose, but that was the only thing I had to look for. It's as if they're made for each other. My satisfaction with the product has not changed in the last three years. Its full size was the 1995
It is usually only the company you bought the item from that can tell you what the manufacture part number is. You will receive an answer from them within minutes if you call. Within the parts, you can usually find a watts number. Just pull them up on top if they aren't already there As a line.
You should still be able to fit it to a You can keep the body/fenders as they are, only if you have not revised them. To mount the product, it will be mounted behind the tire frame.
I tested it out on my 88 and it works great. The fact that Amazon has a great return policy is one of the reasons I am new to Broncos

I am adamant, however. I had to go after the hardware, even though no one likes doing that. In the instructions, a 1 3/4" bolt is specified as the bolt for the mounting of the front of the cabinets. In my case, a metal tube was supposed to be used to extend a piece of hardware on the front mount, and a 1 3/4" bolt that reach the coupler (along with lock washer and fender washer) should also reach the coupler. The system works but only if they supply the correct bolt. I had to figure out how to accomplish it with a 1" bolt. Off to the hardware store I went to get 2 - 1" bolts. The bolts were sized correctly for 1 3/4" but the washers were too small for their diameter (there were 4 too small). This product looks great, is sturdy, and, as others have said, it is very easy to use Although not as low as most of us had hoped or out far enough to be a safe step, it is still a step in the right direction. I know some manufacturers read their product reviews, so I wanted to send a note to them. Do a quality check on the parts to ensure all are present. I would like to hire a college intern to take the brackets on the front a few more times.
The first thing to note is that despite what was never stated in the description, these do fit the SUPERCAB/EXTENDED CAB just fine. I've never seen nerf bars mounted directly to the frame! Once that's out of the way, let's talk about how you can mount them without a frame latch. This is not the case. There is the front mount for the cab/body and the rear is (I think) an anchor for tying a seat belt. A very disheartening turn of events. Because they are designed this way, they attach to a support that resembles (for example) an exhaust hanger off of a car's Do they have a lower strength than conventional ones? Probability is that it won't work. They don't seem to have as sturdy of a hardware set as a conventional set does, so I'll always have a problem with their hardware.
It appears that the product itself is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. On my 1990 F150, the suspension was raised the equivalent of two inches, as well as the body by three inches. It seemed like the bars were hung down way too low when they were first installed. I ended up ditching the spacers on the front bar brackets and buying two nuts to attach to the body mount bolts instead. I had to notch out the bracket to hold the front bar level on the body mount/frame, and I had to notch out the front bar to bracket hole for the bar itself to be In the end, I had to tack on The bracket that attaches to the seat belt bolt should be bent a bit so that it lines With the right tools, this wasn't difficult, but I snapped a body mount bolt while trying to tighten it more for Having to use a sawzall to cut off the lower part of the body mount was necessary because it was solidly rusted. As a result of that, we made a body mount puller from 3" pipe and threaded rod (see youtube), and we went to the junkyard to get a A grade 8 bolt and some anti-fungal were used to replace the old bolt The seize has been resolved, so it should all be.
I used them as a work surface, and although they were a bit difficult to get level (I'm a perfectionist), they're sturdy and construction seems to be of high quality. There is an opening at the end of the tube that is not completely covered by the brackets, so maybe I did something wrong, but I do think they will hold up. The one piece that I had a problem with was one of the frame mounting brackets had a loose nut that wasn't welded in place. We have gone back and forth several times Following several conversations with Customer Service to which they sent a photo of the part and a schematic of the wrong part, the part was replaced.
Taking about 60 minutes for my 1994 Ford F 150 to install by myself, 40 minutes for the driver side, and 20 minutes for the passenger side (took 20 minutes to figure out how the rear bracket goes, could have been easier if the instructions were better, but it is what it is. You will be amazed at its strength, its look, and the fact that it teaches an old dog new tricks (you will be set free, if you think you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.
Initially, it looks pretty good but once you figure out how to install it, it is quite simple. There was a terrible damage to the shipping box when it arrived. It was fortunate that the chrome tubes were well wrapped in bubble wrap, so they did not get damaged. One of the major complaints I have is that the hardware package didn't contain the right parts. In accordance with the parts list and the installation instructions, I was supposed to have 1 It is 3/4 of an inch. Bolts that were not included were too long. Since I had previously created some, I was able to use them. The tires do look good on the truck, and they are stable and appear to be solid The next time I buy, I'll buy it.
Nerf bars that are really strong and solid. These fit my Eddy Bauer tires on my 1995 Ford F150. I would like the bars to be a little further from the door and a little higher. It should have been a little lower and stick out a bit more because it barely functions as a step, and that is what I was hoping they would do, It's worth noting, though, that they do look.
I'm almost done with the passenger side. It was easy to handle the driver's side. There is some confusion regarding the hardware labels and it took some time to get that right. However, the aero kit looks great.
