You can take my 210 pounds if you don't So far, my truck has not been affected by rust or pitting because I wash it almost every day. Using an Amazon warehouse, I purchased mine for $100 as used. Neither of the two had even been unwrapped when we found them. Even if they last a year that is not a problem for that price. It does not concern me in the slightest. There is only one very small issue for me, and that is, I did not realize that there were logos on the black inserts that looked very similar to the Decepticon symbols from Transformers. I love it. The fact that you are able to remove the factory bolts yourself proves that you are a superman. In a shop, you're much more likely to get help quickly. I asked how much it would cost to install the bars when I called the shop. The only thing he said was, "Ya bring it down and we'll help you. " Those bolts won't help you if you hit a brick wall with them, so don't put your head against it. We can fix it for you if you call the shop. These step bars are a good buy. There are great features at an affordable price, and it has a simple, clean, rugged look. A word or two are not written on the steppads. No grip pattern or anything. This is just black with a black The price of the step bars is the same as other brands. I think it's hard to beat the sale price of $139 on these which are well made.

After spending a lot of time agonizing over which set of steps are best for our "new," but old GMC truck, I finally chose the set of steps. It was clear to me that at this price point (Amazon Warehouse), a mistake simply could not be made. That was a complete and utter mistake on my part. As soon as the package arrived, I took it to my mechanic to complete the installation at the same time I had my fall service done. It was a little costly to get new bottom body mounts, but the steps mounted perfectly and will be a great value if I do a few more trips. I also love that my wife, who was the reason these were needed, is delighted as she can easily use them to get in and out of our pickup The fact that I no longer have to lug a step stool around makes my life easier, as well. It is highly recommended that you follow these steps.

These fit my 2010 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab LT (in case you're checking out the review to make sure you'll get the right Although they took a bit of time to assemble, I'm not disappointed with the result. The middle bracket takes the most time to assemble, and you will need an extended socket wrench set to do it. The wheels are sturdy, well built, and look awesome (they give my truck a mean appearance). The reason for buying these was mainly for my short wife to be able to access them As for her ability to get into the truck, she is now able to essentially walk into it. Seat upholstery is much happier on both sides since getting in and out of the seat no longer requires "scooting". My wife and I love them and would purchase again if, heaven forbid, we ever have to buy another vehicle. Moreover, you get a GREAT price!.

Buyer beware the sidestep was sturdy, the installation was easy, and I was very satisfied with them after I Man, I thought what a fantastic deal that was. However, after only one month, they have started to rust badly. As the step moves along at this rate, I don't know how long it will last. There would be no rust on these if it weren't for the rust. It is because of the rust and how fast it occurred that I cannot give them any recommendations. In the event they exchange the rusted ones for new ones that won't rust, I would increase my rating to five stars.

It was easy to install, was of good quality, and it was priced reasonably. *Notice of disclaimer If you can access a lift and power tools, you may be able to break loose the factory bolts, but I suspect if you don't, you'll need a breaker with a three foot cheater bar to do it. There are bars. They (Westin steps) were totally shot, I did not realize how rusted they and their brackets really were, Westin seemed to be a lot beefier, but these have a center bracket and are much lighter weight, so I'm glad I went with the light weight. This 2006 GMC Sierra xcab body type on.
