Your 1984 shadow will work with these parts, but you will most likely need to replace the turn signal flasher/relay in order to use them.
There are two types of grounds for motorcycles black and green.
As long as you mount them properly, they will work because it's a 12-volt system. Fit without turning it into a joking matter may not be the correct word, but in any case, the lights will work.

Not even a flicker of light. The absurdity of it all. Not even a flicker of light. For all of the bright LEDs in the world, they had to find the weakest for this application, in spite of the low price. They were highly rated by a ton of jokers I bought them for this reason, but I couldn't rely on cars seeing them from behind at any time of day or night. If you take another look at that dark image, you may find that it's Even if they were truly bright, you wouldn't be able to distinguish between the individual LEDs. It should not be possible for you to even look Even so, at $11 for the set, returning it is almost not worth the trouble. That's too bad.
On my xt225, LEDs do not generate enough power to drive the relay, so I purchased a pair of load cells from an auto store and hung them behind the headlights. Those flash, but perhaps a little too quickly for my taste. They are still good, though. We had to use the new bullet connectors to make it work. I would have preferred bigger gauge wire, but we made it work.
We bought these turn signals once when we got the bike, but now I'm buying them again. I loved the rubber stalks the first time we got them. has saved the lights many times from having been accidentally kicked by my husband as he gets on and off of his 2010 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. It looked so good that I bought a new set when one of my co-workers toppled his bike into a pedestrian walk, causing the light to malfunction. It feels like the flexibility of the stalk has prevented cracks in the fairings, as they did on the front near a different set of much stiffer.
It's a shame I can't use one of the lights because I really like them, but one of the four doesn't function. Initially, I thought that my motorcycle wiring was incorrect, however after switching the defective light to another circuit that was working, I realized that it does not work. Even though the lights seem dim, they have a cool look to them. It would be great if I could get another set that For now, I must ride with an indicator that does not work, which is one thing I do not appreciate.
They look good and they are easy to install and they seem good quality. I've had them for about a month and now there is water inside both front blinkers and one of the bulbs has blown in each.
The LED lights aren't as bright as I expected despite me reading reviews first. I assumed they'd be bright because they're LED, but they're actually quite dim. In the near future, I will remove that one and throw it away as soon as I get something new in.
These are beautiful, the price is great and they come in a variety of colors Those are the brightest I have ever seen.
