Questions & Answers
These are nothing more than lights with wires attached to them. They will follow your instructions to the letter. If you connect them to 12VDC, they'll stay on all the time. If you connect them to your blinker wires, they'll only light up when your blinkers are turned on. Alternatively, you can use a "normally closed" relay with the output connected to the lights, the input connected to 12VDC, and the coil connected to the blinker wire; the lights will always be on, but the blinkers will cause them to turn off and on. You might not like it because it'll be the opposite of the blinkers (they'll blink off instead of on). It's preferable to keep them as running lights and rely on the regular blinkers to do their job.
Mine was used to indicate a turn. You should be able to use a separate switch or wire into your existing lights to make them work as running lights.
I believe you are looking for LED Neon rather than LEDs. LED neons have a solid line appearance as opposed to traditional neons, which have a dotted appearance. a dot- LED has a dash look to it. I hope this information is useful.
I have them installed as turn signals on a golf cart. A LED flasher, as well as a three-position or On/Off/On toggle, were required in this case to achieve the desired flash. Another set was added to a Jeep, and in this case, I had to replace the flasher relay with a LED flasher, which cost about $6 at a local shop, but the cost of these, and $6, is a lot less than the cost of a wire harness to fix one side blinker for the Jeep. For the replacement of one small blinking amber light, I received quotes of $525, $475, and $491. Thank you, but no thanks.

Holding a 100-watt light bulb next to the LEDs was insufficient to fade the light output of the LEDs. At $10. These LEDs are a fantastic value at 29 for 2. The 3M adhesive strips on the LED's are extremely sticky and a little difficult to peel off the red protective backing, but once removed, they'll stay where you put them. Yes, they're as bright as they appear in the photo. I would highly recommend these for value and price, and I may write a follow-up review after I've had the bike for a while to see how long it lasts and how durable it is.
Purchase some resistors. On my Honda f4i, I installed these as turn signals on the passenger footrests so that I could get rid of the bulky old turn signals and make the back of the bike look more streamlined. It was simple to set up. The lights function well and have a similar brightness to the old turn signals. To prevent the hyperflash, I had to wire a resistor into each LED. To keep things safe, I siliconed the ends. The only reason for four stars is that the lights are completely clear, allowing you to see the insides, which makes it appear a little cheap. Covering them with vinyl wrap and cutting out the light parts will be my solution. Second, the wires are 20 gauge and difficult to wire in due to their small size. Overall, a good purchase that was a perfect fit for my needs.
This product serves as my turn signals on my Harley Davidson Street Bob; it has a low profile and is attached to the rear view mirror cover. I got rid of the unsightly handlebar turn signals, which made the bike even brighter. Perfect for the look I was going for (a bob with a low profile) - I was so impressed that I bought a second set.
The product does not look like it does in the advertisement. My wires were not insulated when it arrived. How am I going to install them as blinkers with the red wire exposed? I'll have to go out and buy a new shrink tube.
These are made with red 3M tape and can be applied to any clean surface. They will stay in place until you decide to remove them. Because the wires are so thin, I'd recommend heat shrinking them over your installation for added strength. These went on a 94 fxsts that I added hard bags to, and they are an excellent product at an unbeatable price. The vibration of the turn signals mounted to the softail relocation bracket was causing me to break the stock lens covers. I mounted them just below the saddle bag lid and ran the wire around to the mount and under the fender, picking up the single wire for the hot lead, before putting a round fitting on the ground and bolting it to the fender strut. It's a cinch to use.
People, it doesn't get any easier than this when it comes to installing software. On my Roadstar bobber build, I installed it. There was no hyper flash because I connected directly to my existing wires. They flashed in the same way that the stock signals did not. I wish they were a little brighter, but I can't complain for the price, and I'm not sure how well they'll hold up over time. I just slapped them on after cleaning the area thoroughly with some prep all. The initial rating is five stars, and I will update if anything changes.
These lights are fantastic, especially considering the price. I mounted them on the back of my sport bike, and they significantly improved my visibility. It's a fantastic adhesive. They're simple to set up, and I used mine to connect to my brake light. I'd recommend using posi lock connectors instead of splicing into any wires on the bike; here's a link to the posi lock connectors:

The bike's previous owner installed a Fender Eliminator Kit and used LED strips for the turn signals, similar to these. The issue is that he used red, so when you apply the brake, the red from the brake light drowns out the red from the turn signals, and you can't tell if it's on or not. These are fantastic! br>br> They're amber in color, so they're visible even when the brake light is turned on, and they're bright enough to be seen at any time of day or night. They haven't even come close to unsticking from my fairings yet, and I don't expect that to happen any time soon. br>br>I'd say these are ideal for use as turn signals on the back of a motorcycle!.
