I made a 4-inch cut in the fabric. a hole of about 1/4" This tightens the rubber, which improves the appearance of the lights. snug. As long as you have red LEDs, the clear lenses will work on your Jeep.
I'm not sure if this is of any use to you, but I purchased it for a friend who needed to replace the lights on a utility bucket truck.
They don't, no.

It was simple to put together, and if instructions had been included, those who claimed they didn't fit would not have complained. The trick is to put the rubber grommet in first, then press the light fixture into it. Now spread the grommet into place by pressing it in. It is held in place by tiny ears that only lock in when the grommet is pressed in. Done! To compensate for the driver in front of you who isn't as bright, these backup lights are extremely bright. When they see these bright reverse lights, they'll realize they've gotten too close and will try everything they can to get out of your way!.
This is a terrible product; it's poorly made and the description is incorrect. These lights will only work on a flat surface that is at least 5 inches in diameter, and they must be glued in place to stay put. Furthermore, the item appears to be from Thailand; do not purchase; it is garbage.
These fit perfectly in my rear ranch hand bumper, just like any other incandescent trailer light I've used before; I'm not sure what the negative reviews about fitment are about, but they're the same size as any other brand I've used.
I had to buy new ones at a truck stop and wrap two layers of blacktape around the bulbs so they wouldn't blow out while driving down the road.
There are no white LEDs. I was under the impression that Clear/Amber meant the main light would be a white LED and the secondary wire would be amber. It's just two different shades of Amber, not two different colors. There are no white LEDs. I gave them back to you.
As if they were any other set of 4 inch lights. My reverse lights were connected to a 40 amp switched circuit and a 40 amp relay circuit. They are simply dim-witted. Later, I'll post a photo/video of both circuits turned on, as well as the amount of light emitted. The mounting grommets aren't standard 4" sizes, so the lights wouldn't stay in place. One of the old grommets from the old lights had to be used.
There isn't much light there, about the same as a standard incandescent service body truck bulb.
