It's extremely simple to set up. My 2006 Harley Davidson EFI Road King was ready to go right out of the box. Take a look at the video to see what I mean.
I was driving without running tail lights and had to negotiate my way out of a ticket. Thanks! Let's take a look at this lifetime warranty to see if it's true:br> Update: br>I spoke with customer service, and they were extremely helpful; I'll be receiving a new one in the mail in the next few days. The customer service was outstanding.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because when the light strobes, it activates my 2018 Road King's security light. The security light on the speedometer turns off if you hold the brake until the light completes its strobe. With that said, it's inconvenient, but everything works fine; the light is extremely bright and easily visible from a half mile away. A few weeks ago, while riding with a friend, he mentioned that he could see me fine. This is a fantastic addition to your bike.
The standard light that I installed on my Electra glide 2021 was well-made and bright. However, if the light strobes, the security light will illuminate, signaling that there is a light out. I carried out the re-recommendation. I messed with it for an hour and learned the process from the instructions. I slid it back on and dialed the number. According to their advice, I should put in a load resistor. Well, that's not plug and play, so I'm returning it. Also, before installing, make sure you've read everything. They state in their paperwork that if you ride the motorcycle, the light cannot be returned because it has been used, and they recommend selling it on Craigslist or eBay. I was dissatisfied with the value for money.
br>Product arrived quickly and was a perfect fit on my 2006 Ultra Classic, with a direct plug-in and a ten-minute installation using only one phillips screwdriver. br>The light is significantly brighter than the stocker, and the strobe effect is a real eye-catcher! br>I don't think I can say enough good things about this stoplight, except that IF YOU RIDE, YOU NEED ONE! br>Oh, and by the way, this light is HALF the cost of the HD brand L. This isn't even a strobe-free replacement.
This is a very nice looking item; I didn't realize it was a slant style when I ordered it; I assumed it was a flat back style like the stock light. At first, I was hesitant; I prefer the stock flat back; however, I put it on, and it looks good; it is VERY BRIGHT! , Not only is the brake light bright, but so is the tail light, which attracts your attention when it flashes.
It took me about 15 minutes to complete. The gasket is on the thin side, and I spent more time on this part of the installation than I thought was necessary. A little dielectric on the plug, two screws out, wiggle old one out, seat gasket and set new in place, screw two screws evenly and firmly to set the gasket, and you're done. br>On the plate, the light is bright and pleasant. There is a lot of light coming in through the clear top. The strobe is easily visible in daylight, as required by the Department of Transportation. br>I'm glad I bought this part because it makes me stand out a little more. A+++.
It generates a security error once installed. The security light illuminates and remains illuminated throughout the strobe cycle, before turning off. As long as you maintain braking, it will do so. The red security light will remain on until you fully brake again if you stop braking before the strobe cycle ends. This is taking place on a Heritage Softail from 2013. I've tried everything they suggest to get the bike to reset and work, but it's not working. I'll continue my search for a true plug-and-play tail light.
