In most cases, no additional modifications are necessary; simply plug and play.
Normally, a resistor package is not required; however, if your vehicle is a Toyota, an H4 relay harness may be required.

Hello, Dear Client: It will work, but the wiring circuit of the To- Some Toyota Pickup and Toyota Tocoma models use a double ground, resulting in the headlights not working or only working on one beam. You may need the H4 Relay Harness (search "B089M4DC45" or "H4 Relay Harness" on amazon) to make it work, but first, we recommend you buy our headlights. If the harness is needed, then buy the relay kit, thank you.

I don't normally write reviews, but because these lights are so new, there were none when I purchased them. They are much brighter and have a much better cutoff than the stock sealed beams. The blinker and daytime running lights were not wired in. So far, these have proven to be worthwhile upgrades. If any issues arise, I will provide an update.
It took less than ten minutes to complete the installation. When it came to plugging in the headlight, it was a very simple process. If you want to use the blinker and running lights, you'll need a little more knowledge, tools, and time, but these are definitely worth it!.
The installation was simple if you know how to wire things. If you don't, they'll send you a very simple wiring guide, and they feel very high quality compared to other aftermarket headlights I've used in the past. I was blown away by the brightness of the driving lights after they were installed. The main lights are very bright, comparable to HID bulbs at a fraction of the cost; I love mine because it's a great value for the money and simple to install.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but the purchase turned out to be a great success. Installed in my 1997 Chevy C1500 W/T, perfect fit, wired exactly as they said, and worked even better than I had hoped! The distinction between Low and High beam is stark and noticeable. Low beams fill in the normal view at low level, while high beams fill in just above projecting really far out, as long as your lights are aimed correctly. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I get them.
After installing these lights, I went through the different modes to see how they functioned and noticed a smudge on one, so I went to clean it off with a microfiber cloth and even that soft of a towel left scratches on the plastic, thinking it could have been a dirty microfiber cloth, so I grabbed a brand new one and tried it on the other.
Is my driving experience $90 better because they're extremely bright, fit like a glove, and take a beating without complaint? . . . I'd go even further. They actually do more than I use them for in that I don't have the signal lights plugged in because I don't want to look like I'm promoting a carnival or something with all the blinking. br>br>In terms of installation, I've worked at Valero and used gas pumps that were more difficult to get to work. There are only about a dozen screws that need to be removed in order to install these. It doesn't get any more straightforward than that. For the sake of comparison, I'll say that I'm probably a better mechanic than The Golden Girls. . . but not quite Fonzi. br>br>Have a safe drive, my fellow Jeeper.
So far, these headlights have been fantastic and extremely bright! I installed them on my skoolie and they look fantastic; I even connected the turn signals, and the bus looks fantastic! I'm crossing my fingers that they'll stick around. Also, the shipping was very quick.
These work as expected; I installed them in a 98 XJ mail jeep, which is my work vehicle, and they are 5x brighter than the halogen bulbs that were previously installed. The wiring for the built-in turn signals and parking lights proved to be the most difficult part of the installation. It took me about 45 minutes to complete the installation. I would recommend it because it is good value for money.
